The French Surrealist Poet Joe Bousquet once said “My wound existed before me, I was born to embody it”. In this talk the aim is to explore this idea of woundedness in a new materialist and posthuman politics. Involving Spinoza, Deleuze and Serres, I will discuss how I explored these themes in my recently published monograph (The Philosophy of Matter: a Meditation) as well as in some current writings.
