︎ Jonathan Fardy



Dr. Jonathan Fardy is Assistant Professor of Art History and Director of the Graduate Program in Art at Idaho State University. He also holds a joint appointment in the Department of History. His research focuses on the intellectual history of art, politics, and critical theory. He is the author of four books: Laruelle and Non-Photography(2018); Laruelle and Art: The Aesthetics of Non-Philosophy (2020); Althusser and Art (2020); and The Real is Radical: Marx after Laruelle (2021). His articles have appeared in Postmodern Culture, Angelaki: The Journal of Theoretical Humanities, Postcolonial Text, and elsewhere.
