Romina Wainberg is a PhD Candidate in Iberian and Latin
American Cultures at Stanford University. She holds a Specialization in
Creative Writing from Casa de Letras, a BA in Modern Literature and Literary
Theory from the University of Buenos Aires, and an MPhil in Hispanic Studies
from the University of Glasgow. Her research focuses on Latin American
literature from the 19th to the 21st century, with a special emphasis on
noncanonical, unorthodox, and weird fiction. Her dissertation-in-progress
examines representations of the process of writing in the Latin American novel
from 1841 to 2021.
