Willow Verkerk is a Lecturer in Continental Philosophy and
Social Philosophy at the University of British Columbia and a
Postdoctoral Researcher with the Gendered Mimesis Project at KU Leuven.
She was previously a Lecturer in Modern European Philosophy at
CRMEP, Kingston University. Willow is the author of Nietzsche and
Friendship (Bloomsbury, 2019) and other academic texts in
continental and feminist philosophy. Current research topics include
Nietzsche as a political thinker, a genealogical investigation of the post-Enlightenment subject, and the ontology of gender.
